Servicing the Industry for Almost 60 Years
In 1952, MRC LaBarge entered the steel pipe distribution industry as LaBarge Pipe & Steel Company. By servicing the needs of gas transmission/distribution, petrochemical, water/wastewater treatment, energy and construction markets, MRC LaBarge has developed a reputation for unparalleled quality of product and service. As one of the largest stocking distributors in North America, MRC LaBarge offers every customer the best opportunity to find the pipe they need, when and where they need it. Our strategic stocking locations across the country provide a wide range of services, including coating, cutting, and beveling. Over the years, MRC LaBarge has grown and evolved to meet the changing needs of the pipe and steel industry.
In 1972, the addition of the Rolled & Welded Mill in Wagoner, Oklahoma allowed customers the opportunity to purchase rolled and welded pipe specifically rolled to meet their unique requirements. The Rolled & Welded Mill produces cylinders to ASME code and pipe to ASTM specifications. The process involves the rolling of plate into cylinders and then welding it to meet customer specifications. Since its inception, the Rolled and Welded Mill has earned a reputation for quality and service.
In 2008 LaBarge Pipe & Steel Company was acquired by McJunkin Red Man Corporation, the world's largest distributor of industrial pipe, valves and fittings (PVF) and related products and services to the energy industry. This new position allows MRC LaBarge to expand its reach throughout the energy infrastructure market and continue to stock and deliver the best in large diameter steel pipe.
