LABARGE PIPE AND STEEL COMPANY ANNOUNCES EXPANSION OF LABARGE COATING LLC

ST. LOUIS, MO, August 2006: LaBarge Pipe and Steel Company announced that it has approved the construction of a new Fusion Bond Epoxy coating facility to further expand the capabilities and services offered by its coating subsidiary, LaBarge Coating, LLC. The facility will be located in Channelview, Texas and is scheduled for operation in spring 2007.
The new facility will include an additional coating plant capable of applying FBE and ARO coatings to pipe in diameters up to 48" and lengths to 80'. The facility will be accessible by truck, rail and barge. Pipe storage, double jointing, logistics and project management services will also be available.
